The Legitimate Gentlemen
One of the few acts in the North representing the blossoming and exuberant electro-swing sound; The Legitimate Gentlemen’s live show features horns, banjo, live samples and topical braces.
Their tunes have been well received and approved by the electro-swing scene online whilst being invited to perform at some of Sheffield’s most prestigious nights and festivals, including the Tuesday Club, Pangaea, The Big Swing, Cool Beans, Beaverfest, Sheftival, Tramlines and Peace in the Park. The latter half of 2012 saw them tour the country as party of Bacardi’s 150th Birthday Speakeasy celebrations.
Slim Chris spins Fat Eddie's beats whilst Eddie works the room armed with nothing more than a sax and a banjo. It’s vintage and it’s rocking.
